Make that five weeks!

This summer has been crazy fun. I've been with some of my absolute favorite people for a week, or two, at a time! Except my mommy... My first week of summer I was on Pilgrimage to North Carolina with my J2A class at church! They're all like my family, and I've known most of them since I was really little.

When we got to the church we stayed at our first night, I found that my mommy had hidden a surprise for me in my bag! A bracelet that says "Together or apart" on one side, and on the other "you are always in my heart." I wear it every day. She also got me VeggieTales silly bands, and the VeggieTales bible!

My Boo... I got to spend two straight weeks with her!
I don't know what I would do without her.

Some of our boy! Why they still wanted to sit after nine hours in the vans, I have no idea.

The Crew!

Miss Sandy!
aka one of many second mommys
Miss Jessica couldnt come with us, she had to stay home with her little babies!
She was my other sponsor for confirmation.

We went to Jockey's Ridge the thrird or fourth day.... I fell. Sand + Camera = Very Very Bad.

We got home a week after we left, which was a Saturday. I was home for about 19 hours, and then left for Camp Weed! My wonderful mommy did my laundry once I seperated it so that I could sleep!! She. Is. Awesome. She also sent me brownies and cookies while I was at Camp to share with my cabin!

Anyone I meet at camp almost immediately feels like family. Its so great!

I was with My Boo again this week!

The next week, I was home!! Me, Mommy, and JJ worked VBS this week! Again, surrounded by people I love!

Mommy worked with the Pre Schoolers, JJ with second and third grade, and I got to walk around and take pictures/help where help was needed all day!

I loved seeing all their smiling faces every day!
We had a lot going on during the day!
Games!

Crafts!

More crafts!

Music!
I love watching all the little ones having so much fun!

My buddy, T!
The best part is getting to spend even more time with people that I love!

The next week, I was out of town again! Finally with my mommy!!!!! We went to her favorite place in the entire world. North Carolina! But this time... in the mountains! (unlike Pilgrimage)

Walk to Silver Run.

JJ and I at Looking Glass Falls.

Fool's Rock on Whiteside Mountain!

Me and Mommy next to the train!

Hike to Hooker Falls.

Hooker Falls!

And we did so much more!

We got home yesterday, and I leave again tomorrow to LIT at Camp Weed! I am super duper excited, except that it means yet another week away from my mommy! The week after, I get my mommy all to myself! JJ will be at Camp! And I will be done with my non-stop going!

Sweet Summertime!

It's finally summer!! These first four weeks will be nonstop craziness. Thank God for moms!!!

This morning, I woke up to one of the grestest smells EVER....and a cat attacking my face.

My wonderful mommy made cinnamon apple muffins!

They were quite delecious.

After getting up early on THE FIRST DAY OF SUMMER, Mommy deserves some time to relax. She curled up on the couch surrounded by not even half of her "fur babies" and probably fell asleep watching Bill Cosby.

Mommy takes us "camping"

Every year, our church goes on a camping trip over memorial day weekend to my favorite place in the entire world! Camp Weed! I have the greatest memories ever from being at camp! We always have tons of fun on this trip, hanging out, swimming, and going down the Ichetucknee. My mommy isnt much of a camper, so we stay in the conference center. But we spend lots of time at the camp site with everyone!  Last year it rained. A lot. And as we were leaving home...

it looked like it might do the same thing. But, we headed towards blue skies!

And it was a beautiful weekend!

We finally got to camp!

Friday afternoon, and me and my amazing mommy drove around camp.

Mandi's Chapel

The bridge..... The very scary bridge.

Mandi's <3

The field was toooo big for mommy, so she drove :)

There was (and always is) a beautiful sunset behind Mandi's
We got up Saturday morning to try to see the sunrise.... didnt work out. But I got a pretty cool picture of Mandi's.

My sister stayed at the camp site with her friends that night, so while my mommy went to get her, I went back to sleep. I woke back up and did not feel good at all! So I had to stay while everyone went down the Ichetucknee :( My wonderful mommy dropped jj back off at the camp site so she could go woth friends, and then my wonderful mother came back to stay with me. Of course, once everyone left I felt just fine! So me and my mommy spent the morning driving around town (down the street from camp) and walking around camp.

We found a very pretty church!

 With very pretty flowers.

 And a very pretty bell.

Back at camp, I showed my mommy around and told her stories from summer camp.

At the hay barn, we have a bell. The purpose of this bell is for it to be heard from very far away. My mommy didnt know this until after she decided to ring it. Her reacton to how loud it was was absolutely priceless. I wish I had known it was coming so that I could take a picture...

We went into Mandi's. I could stay in there forever!

Then everyone came back, and we got ready to go to the pool to swim and eat dinner!

My lovely sister, JJ<3

While we were waiting, JJ and her bestie wanted pictures around camp...

Im not sure why, but I really, really like this picture.
and this one <3

My stunning mommy doesnt usually swim, so she sits there and looks pretty.<3

While we wait for the inevitable game of water polo that is tradition.

There was a sun shower after swimming! And after that, yet another gorgeous sunset...

Sunday morning, before service at the camp site, I took a walk.

I never want to leave!! No matter how long im there. For the weekend, for an hour to drop my sister off for summer camp, or a week to be there myself for summer camp. I never ever want to leave! It feels like home. This is where I feel safest and closest to God.

"Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation."
Isaiah 12:2
